The combinator (turf renovation equipment) is a dual purpose golf course and sports field machine designed for frase mowing or verti-cutting with the capability of removing and discharging the unwanted grasses or thatch into a trailer or dump truck.
Frase Mowing is a relatively new but proven method of controlling unwanted grasses, i.e. Poa annua, and weeds in sports turf. The entire upper layer of turf down to the soil is accurately removed leaving a level clean renovated course or field surface for re-seeding or turfing.
Verti-cutting can also be carried out by changing the frasing blades to reversible knife blades, knife spacing's or either 1" or 2" are available.
The Combinator is manufactured to a high quality with the following features:
- Both front and rear depth control rolls are linked by a pendle system - adjustment is via only 2 front screw spindles.
- The rotor is fitted with special calibrated blades for accuracy of cut, also Verti-Cutting frasing knife blades can be easily bolted on.
- Side elevator can be hydraulically raised and lowered - folds flat for transportation.
