The Blec Disc Seeder is the ideal machine for over seeding both small and large areas quickly and accurately, with minimal surface disturbance.

 

Over seeding can be achieved in many different ways, i.e. spiking, raking, spraying, tilling, spreading, silt seeding and finally disc seeding.

 

All the above ways are dependent upon one basic factor moisture - necessary for germination and sustained growth. The Blec Disc Seeder plants the seedlings directly into moisture lines at the correct depth for good germination and long term growth.

 

Close Disc Spacing of 2" permits a one pass operation and the angled position of the discs allow penetration even in compacted ground.

 

Constant depth control - by the side jack wheel assemblies or optional smooth roll, both with infinite screw adjustment.

 

Accurate Planting of the seeds is achieved by a stainless steel seed metering combined with a fluted rubber agitator rotor, which directs the seed into tubes to the coulter discs. Seeding rates between 4 - 40 gm per square yard are achieved.

 

A rear smooth roller close up the slits, leaving the surface ready to play. The roll can be ballast filled with water for extra weight. Ballast weights are supplied with the Disc Seeder and can be positioned at the front or rear of the seeder depending on the ground conditions.

 

Long life discs made from high quality heat treated steel, reduce cost to a bare minimum, compared to PTO driven cutting blades machines.

 

Combine the short compact design of the Disc Seeder with the high work rate of up to 5000sq. yards per hour and you have a machine that carries out your over-seeding tasks with ease.
